[00:00:14] It's Friday, even you know what time it is. Front Runner Podcast Collective, this back on air. I am your humble host of this. I am joined by the silent assassins, bunch of flunch and so rare. They are on the

[00:00:30] ones in two today for the podcast and we are excited to be here. First on the doc, we are going to talk about the non-moves and why those are important. We are also going to talk about a couple

[00:00:48] little sightings that have happened and then we are going to finish off with a little downhound Southern Couthy with the New Orleans Pelicans and we are going to put them in the front runner of Frontoff's Focus. But before we do, Auburn, let's get to the socials

[00:01:07] X Twitter, how do you want to say it? Front runner, he's C and then the producers are at Rhea underscore bunch FRPC. They're back in force are calm cool because they're the least

[00:01:28] uh information concept on there from time to time, Frontster Rhea. Who we now are going to call our resident ninja, you know, somehow she's moved for a thousand miles away and in a blink of

[00:01:45] a eye even though she was talking about it like like a group or least ago but no white new shoe series about it and now she is she's West Coast girl, so cow. So uh she lives in the undisclosed location

[00:02:01] and we're happy to have her on the West Coast and she's happy to be able to sleep at a decent time. So it's all great. With that being said, let's also talk about the YouTube channel,

[00:02:15] exciting things going on there. We put up a video on Houston and we really spotlighted Reed Shepherd the rookie out of Kentucky, uh the third overall pick and um there were some things

[00:02:28] that we talked about his game. There were some things that we talked about where we saw him in the future and I highly recommend you go and check it out. Plus there's a M in mobility piece up there.

[00:02:42] There's also a Chicago bulls piece up there so please go check those out. Front runner, podcast collect up on you to go do. All right the other thing with that is subscribe to the channel

[00:02:57] and if you are a fan of the channel and you like some of the things that you see on there, you can go here and give it a little like then you can go ahead and comment

[00:03:07] then I will respond to the comments. That's why I promised you as of this time because we can cater like that right. Then the last thing is the podcast to sell and again and again and again

[00:03:25] we talk about be a friend, tell a friend. You guys have been doing it. You guys took the little challenge a little, little challenge to hearted seems like because we had a little spike and we are

[00:03:40] starting to get there. We're closing in on the independent record of the podcast. Last month was the most download we've ever had. It looks like this month we're trending in the direction to break that record. That is because of you. That is because of the hard

[00:04:03] work you guys have been doing. Be a friend, tell a friend about the podcast. Be sure to download it. We're also trying to we've been doing a lot more on Twitter. Oh, you guys have seen it

[00:04:16] where we tried to put the podcast out there for people to get utilized to order for us. If you are a fan of the podcast if you are audience member and you enjoy what you hear.

[00:04:30] Get on Twitter and share the podcast is helpful to us. We want to grow it. We want to expand into other things like football and wrestling and marvel and we need people

[00:04:45] to do that. So the more you can get people to listen to us, the more people say, hey I kind of maybe I want to join. Maybe I want to do something and be a part of who know. You're one of those

[00:05:02] people who know possibilities are absolutely endless. But I am grateful for everybody with that little to podcast. Thank you so much. And don't worry because at the end of the podcast, if you have exhausted your friend group, for a long run of podcast collect this here for you.

[00:05:28] Now we have suggestions on who you can now tell other than your friend group. So keep it locked to your towards the end and we'll go ahead and get on into that.

[00:05:41] Now with all that we said, it's time to get into this podcast and get you into this weekend properly. Where we're going to start off is it's absolute ghost times as far as news is concerned.

[00:05:56] We had the Russell Westbrook signing so he got released from Utah. Right? So they were going to buy him out, they bought him out. He moves on to Denver. He's eyes at two year contract with Denver.

[00:06:11] The least surprising, blue, silk or the Aussies in because it was telegraph since pretty much drive night. I like to move in one way because the Russ, if he's bought into what he was last year

[00:06:29] and all indications that he has, he can be a really good chess piece for Nicole Yokech, the Joker, to move around. And he still has a ton of athleticism for somebody who was 34 years

[00:06:44] of age and also he showed that he could take something at for netting energy and use it on the defense of Ian. So I hope and I'm praying that my guy goes up to Denver to the Mile High City

[00:06:59] reinvigorates that Bruce Brown role that you'd lost a couple years back when you want the championship. So that's my hope for what Russ is and we'll get more into how we see him as we go on into

[00:07:16] the podcast. Now a couple of other things that are going on like I said, no news, no news. So the jazz are going to go ahead and seems like they're going to keep Lorden Markin it.

[00:07:35] It also seems like all that talks with Lorden Markin and have kind of shut down. Danny Ainge is looking for really high price tag with Lorden Markin and so far none of the

[00:07:52] bitters have decided to go ahead and meet that price. Now the other thing is the bulls had resigned themselves to the crack that their keyframe Zach will be until the year. I'm going into

[00:08:09] the year. So they tried to trade them. There were rumors out there that you were offering a first round pick to get off of Zach Levine. I told you on this podcast previous that was an absolute

[00:08:25] erroneous rumor. This or something has told me that they never offered that. But it makes no sense at this point to continue this, let's get them back into the full and really just have

[00:08:41] a specific role for him, designated for him. Whereas like listen we're going to get you to shy. We're not trying to win right now, but you cannot step on the young players and the

[00:08:54] development that we're trying to get out of these young guys to remember. Now you have Josh G. From Oklahoma City. The Kobe White story from last year was incredible at how he just

[00:09:09] absolutely exploded onto the sea for the Chicago Bulls when he got a starting role. He got reliable mint. So those are two pieces that you were looking at and going, hey, this is something we're

[00:09:24] trying to build off of and not to mention the 11th overall pick which was Montes Bouselis. Now we talked about him in the previous podcast and he is highlighted in the Chicago video up on YouTube.

[00:09:40] So Goldcheck that YouTube video out. We did a good job on him. I think and I think we talked about the lead thing and what happened. So Goldcheck that out. Now so no moves with Louis.

[00:09:58] I didn't think that unless they were really going to go ahead and give up picks to trade them. I didn't think that any of them was going to happen. His salary is just too high.

[00:10:09] For the production and you say, man, hold on a little bit. Wait, Zach Levee first of all, he's a UCLA kid. So why you down on the UCLA kid? Hold on wait.

[00:10:22] Now down on Zach at all. Here's the one thing I will say. I really want to sit here and we talk about all the time. Had a robust conversation about foreign offices and what they're trying to

[00:10:38] do and how they're trying to move and what happened. But sometimes in in these situations, you have owner and what you have owners that are really about the bottom line. As far as winning

[00:10:52] concern it doesn't seem to be the primary motivation in Chicago at this moment. Now I think that carnivorous is trying to do a really good job with what he's doing. I think you're starting to see

[00:11:05] the tear down slowly, but I do agree with not shooting yourself in the foot and trading Zach Levee at his lowest value on that he has. Remember he's a 25 point against score. At the end of the day, he does nothing else. He's 25 point. Now he's athletic and the

[00:11:33] to play defensive. To admit that it is not always there. He is smart enough and he is very again athletic enough to move around the court when he doesn't have the ball in the team.

[00:11:52] And he could be a really good ball attacker with his athleticism and also his 3 point range. It's all in what Zach was to be at this point because clearly Zach as the noble one guy

[00:12:11] is not going to lead you to the promise land. Levee starts to understand that maybe I am a turfier player. Or secondary player, I'm not trying to downgrade him to a point where listen,

[00:12:26] I just want you to come off the bench. What I'm asking is maybe you take a little less responsibility and you start to essentially other parts of your game that you have clearly do have.

[00:12:40] You can't play defend. I'm not saying you have to play at an expert level but play it at a level where you're not a net negative. And then on the offensive end, show some of your

[00:12:53] dinanicism with your athleticism and get all ball in start making cuts and also allowing your spatial situation with your 3 point shooting to work in your benefit and allow some of these other guys to develop. I think that Chicago with Lanzo ball coming back and that's the everything.

[00:13:17] Now we talked about it in the last broadcast and I think it also ended up, I don't know, ended up in, no, I didn't, but Lanzo ball is coming back. We don't know physically what he's going to look like. Now the picture show that he's in tremendous shape,

[00:13:37] picture show that he's joking the jump shot in a real way. Pause, I heard, I heard what I said. Lanzo heard it, I got it. Yep, all right. He shooting the J very well in these

[00:13:57] what you see on on the internet. But until we see him in real being action, it's going to be hard for me to say, okay, he's going to be immediately back to Lanzo ball, the guy who left.

[00:14:11] Because that guy was spectacular. So we're just, we're just hoping for like 75 to 80% of Lanzo ball being, that would be great. But just having Lanzo ball on the court with Lv and the rest of

[00:14:28] those guys, you can formulate somewhat of a team where it can be respite and you can build your value again, Zach. And then maybe you can come out to the West Coast. You know what I'm saying?

[00:14:44] What if you will form ruin? Come home, maybe. What you're going to place in D's before you come home. Right? You have play a little D. Now saying, yeah, place sucked. Because clearly what's going on right now, it's not working.

[00:15:02] All right. Now the last thing that leads us to the to the, the main thing that we want to talk about today, the grinding in Grim situation, David Griffin has said that it is not feasible right now to trade,

[00:15:18] branded ingrown though the offers out there are lack left to rate best. They're not getting what they feel is good value. So they're going to hold on to brand ingrown. Now, there's three things with this one. Branding ingrown wants a contract. He wants Max dollars. That's an open.

[00:15:44] Number two. Branding ingrown does not play 70 games a year. Branding ingrown somehow in his mid or little past mid 20s. Only plays about 64 to 62 games a year and then thirdly is this

[00:16:11] market for what he is and what he expects when he goes to the next place, as far as opportunities in the amount of money he's looking for is not necessarily on the table. So here's

[00:16:28] another very talented win. Poem needs to reassess where he is in the league because the league is now telling him, hey man we don't see you as at 47 to 50 million dollar a year guy. And maybe

[00:16:49] he needs to figure out and this is something that we've talked on this podcast a lot of time. Sometimes Branding ingrown believes that he's the novel one option in New Orleans. Now,

[00:17:03] Granted, Ziya will use in his missed a lot of games and we're going to get into this whole thing because we're going to talk about, but Ziya misses a lot of game. So ingrown has been kind of

[00:17:18] bolding to take this number one moniker. But it is reluctant to give it back once Ziya is healthy and playing again in his cause and rickshaw. Now I'm not saying they're at odds with one another and to say on the court, basketball for lots of feet between two

[00:17:40] hasn't meshed completely. So I think that's a fair assessing of what we see who we watch these games. Now the next thing is that where do we go from here? Well, for all the talk of this

[00:17:59] incredible firework off season where tray young could we treat it in Donovan, Mitchell can be treated and then it wasn't Donovan Mitchell and then it was Darry's gone and could believe they

[00:18:16] keep the big with lowering marketing going somewhere. There were a lot of, there were a lot of things out there. Oh, remember Kevin Durant, the Kevin Durant, rumor was out there as well.

[00:18:32] Man, this has been a pretty silent NBA offseason so far and there's a reef for them. I told you guys, I tried to softly it all of last year. I told you there was a

[00:18:45] buggy man coming and that buggy man has shown his face. It is called the first and second apron and I am telling you that there are organizations out there who have said to me

[00:19:00] that thing scares them, it puts you in such a wine you have to be able to go to your owner and say confidently, hey, we are, we are there. If we get this one guy and we go into the

[00:19:16] apron situation, we still have enough to go ahead and make a real run at an NBA championship because owners do not want to hear, hey Matt, we just wonder when you kind of really really

[00:19:31] did it and give a lot of stuff breaks our way. Well, we might be able to get vital. I think when you start to put that kind of financial investment on the table and then also you

[00:19:46] talk about all of the the repeater taxes that go along with being in or around the apron, then not to mention all of the things you can't do, want your apron so you have to have a stacked, stacked roster. You have to look at what Vosin has done.

[00:20:15] Now, you can equival about the nicks and about who they have and how much starry power they have or lack of a ball creation or whatever the case may be. But as far as stacked, that's a stacked

[00:20:31] heat. So they're going to give somebody some problems in the playout. The nicks have kind of but nangled their way around other teams just kind of going and hey man, you know what, let's see

[00:20:47] other teams go through it first and then we'll figure it out for them because we want to see how people navigate once their it's all the big case study right now. And I think it has made for

[00:21:03] a pretty boring summer. We had the fireworks early with Mcillard Bridges, we thought it was going to lead to a bunch of change and now we're left with a bunch of tea that are one

[00:21:19] scratching their head because it seemed like the music has stopped and there's no chair for it. And there's a ton of tea that right now if you look at them and we're about to get into one of

[00:21:31] them, which is the New Orleans Pelicans and they have an incomplete grade. Remember how the Aussies are starting for? Right? Oh, the Jante Murm, we're going to get into that trade and

[00:21:45] begin to what this team is now, what this team is looking like and what are they going to do? Because they're one of the teams that we're talking about. They're incomplete right now.

[00:22:01] So let's get into it. So the first thing that I want to talk about is the Jante Murm acquisition wasn't surprising to me and that Jante Murm got in lieu. I was hearing that he was more attractive than trade anyway. He was the more desirable player than trade,

[00:22:27] when the trades and they started to move. And for him to go to New Orleans now, to the thing, the Jante did not work in Atlanta because even though he's a bigger guard

[00:22:44] he's still slight and trade is also a very diminutive guard as well. So they just didn't have enough all-wall pressure to really make any kind of significant dent in the defense to help out

[00:23:01] Capella and others on the back end. And also it didn't help that what they've got through so many coaches down here. I mean, when it was Lloyd Daniels and it was named Melan and then

[00:23:17] that the Jante, somebody else and it was Quinn's there. So I mean, it's just going to lot of dude going through there. Also Travis Sweet left, he went to go Washington.

[00:23:34] He also added his hands tie when he was in Atlanta. And now Landry feels this air. So they're making a lot of changes there. But when they trade the Jante Murray to New Orleans, you know how

[00:23:46] this affects New Orleans is this? Why? You got a real point guard. Congratulations. Point Zion was the best version of a point guard that they had because he drew so much gravity towards him

[00:24:04] that even though now he will I think he's in a depth past or personally. But the reads were so easy because it was like the whole defense collapsed on Zion and he kicks it out to a shooter. He looks

[00:24:16] awesome because there's a trade where we just a Jeteen it up. So would Dejante Murray this somebody who does have on-ball creation, on-ball choose and another guy who can get into the

[00:24:31] lane. This is key to the New Orleans Pelican. Key as I told you they had a Etreempley gray right now the other thing is that they traded away Larry Nash Jr. Dyson Daniels Cody Zeller

[00:24:53] two-first round pick. Now I'm going to tell you right now they won their trade. Now Dyson Daniels down the road could turn into an absolute star he has the size he has defense of top to it we will see

[00:25:13] if the shooting ever comes along because he is a very poor the recoil shooter and really not a great 2-point shooter as what so to get Dejante Murray you're guaranteeing yourself somebody depending on whatever role that we'll get into a little bit later whatever role he actually fits

[00:25:34] into whether he's a third-scorer one-t or he ends up being secondary scored depending on how they won play. You got now a guy another guy who is a consistent like hey man I am going to roll out

[00:25:50] of it and get you 16-point. I can get you 16 points I can get six to eight on defense alone in grabbing board and taking it close to him so just that alone is gonna be helpful.

[00:26:07] Then again being able to play all of Zaiai is something that's going to be a luxury to him and it's also going to be a luxury to Zaiai. Here's a guy who can never get a screen expertly on both sides

[00:26:21] of the wall I mean on both sides you know with low hand and then he has a lot of bread which is Zaiai will get it. Also Zaiai is a low beginner around so I think he's going to try this

[00:26:38] immensely and also again it's going to be Dejante Murray's team. So as we get along with that is that he's gonna end up getting a lot more comfortable he's not going to have to share that role

[00:26:51] with Ray Young anymore. He's gonna be in a completely different base and he's gonna be in it completely different atmosphere than what he's been in the last couple of years. To

[00:27:02] I can tell you that it is going to struggle in a slog for Atlanta to try to figure out what kind of identity they want be. So I am really happy with this trade for New Orleans. Griffin is

[00:27:20] Virtray there's been some things that you said dear you kind of scrapped your head a while this was a good trade. They also designed Daniel Tyston one year deal that's a good back

[00:27:32] of big now on the flip side they got rid of youngness valentus and here is the little the dilemma at this present time. Once you gave up youngness valentus who's the big on the roster

[00:27:48] Larry Nash Jr. is gone like I just said youngness valentus is gone and here's the thing they selected a kid out of Baylor he's Lucy he's Missy is seven foot to 40 pounds he's also 19 years of age

[00:28:16] and I think this dude is coming in to start for the norm of the company but if you look at the roster right now who would start his center the whole was that Randy Ingram was going to

[00:28:32] fetch you a center or fetch you something that was going to lead you to a center but that hasn't happened so we're kind of in the norm not that place to be but yeah youngness valentus went

[00:28:52] to the Washington Wizards he took three year deal for ten million dollars he gets a chance to go start there and help out out of the car who's the second take overall in this year's draft

[00:29:08] out car wants to be a four he's probably going to end up being a five get the shot never comes along well youngness is there now to provide that that toughness in that physicality that saw

[00:29:22] black so good job on him finding a home and also finding a place where he can actually be a real contributor and be able to extend the career and you always want to make sure that you're putting

[00:29:37] yourself in a position where you are able to maximize your earning potential once youngness valentus goes to the bench that ten million dollars is not there anymore he feels like a minimum

[00:29:53] be so in going to youngness valentus is going to Washington made a lot of sense a lot of people were scratching their head out here in the law law in Los Angeles about youngness valentus

[00:30:08] being a laker well first of all you got to have an actual like laughter platform the things is as you can see how the tree work is kind of low they got to sign him

[00:30:26] has sixteen in on the roster and then forced to make a trade toward the starting trading can get it done that but then who knows what they would have to give up could get camera

[00:30:41] or Christian wood off the roster. You do imagine how to give up two second round picks to get those do off the roster terrible again that's why you don't get player option to minimal

[00:30:56] contract and round clean now back to the applicant couple other things that we want to get to with them I want to get to the CJ and Coletane now here's the thing we're almost in the exact same

[00:31:12] situation that we were in Atlanta but we do haven't let's talk about the lineup to John Tamary CJ McCullough branded e-ring Zion Williams and whoever you want to put as in her it's choose your own

[00:31:30] adventure boys and girls here at Furniture Park Ask Electroton because here's a thing if you're asking me I'm going to tell you right now there is no center it's oh we're going to go small I guess

[00:31:49] I don't know or or now radical idea we'll see how it all flows but you could do something like this yes you're going to start Zion yes you're going to start branding in-ground but then you're going

[00:32:12] to start trade Murphy's third and then that's how you get Joanna where you're not in her channel so that's how you get Joanna where it's small but it's long everywhere else that means CJ McCullough has to come off the bench and if you think about it this way

[00:32:39] with some of the deficiencies that they've had CJ McCullough being able to kind of guide that second unit along with Jordan Hawkins who's the second year player out of Yukon who when he got chances to play last year played well didn't get a lot of opportunities because

[00:33:00] New Orleans is very very deep and we're going to talk about how deep they are right in the second but here's a guy that definitely should get some time and he should get somewhere in between

[00:33:15] 16-20 minutes game now so you could move CJ to that second dairy or basically he's the sixth man come off of it's right he's going to provide instant offense that there's that

[00:33:29] nature well also just having him as a mentor towards Jordan Hawkins on that second unit might be very good it's been essential to the New Orleans publicans as a whole as they move forward into the

[00:33:42] future just a thought now here's a thing NBA players have like master the needles so you're going to try to tell CJ McCullough who it's making 35.8 million dollars that's actually 1.8 million more than Zion this year because Zion New contract kept that what

[00:34:05] so we know no Zion is on his contract this just that he's lower because of the injury can what you're going to tell that guy to come walk a bitage a guy who played in playoff games with

[00:34:21] Damon Liller he's going the president of the players union and pretty much below around the league CJ McCullough you're going to tell him he has to come walk the bitage I do not

[00:34:40] in the willy green but the one thing I did know about willy green he wants to win he's going to give it to you but he does love his players so I don't know how that's going to play out but right now

[00:34:57] you tell me New Orleans pelicans fan out there hit me up on at at front run on he's seen you let me know his easy easy literally go start for you game one that's seen very far fetched

[00:35:18] from me but that's what's going to happen now let's get into a couple other things let's get into our guys on okay um it was a phenomenal year he played the most games he's ever played

[00:35:33] 26.7 rebounds or sis again he dominated and paint he was quick he was athletic after that play in in season tournament I'm sorry I got my new playoff things you missed up the in season

[00:35:53] tournament after that embarrassing loss to the makers it seemed like he went to a new level he started taking things seriously and then unfortunately the pop of the groin he was that

[00:36:09] what the pocket of the show he was up so you know we we talking about every year choice lifestyle because here's the thing we we can talk about the talent we get talk about how crazy it

[00:36:28] is we talk about all the on-tap potential he's blowing his opportunity I don't want to do it anymore we've done it it's this repetitive and I won't do it so at this point is put it were shut up at

[00:36:43] this point yet a phenomenal regular season last year if they want to do anything in the playoffs he's got a new healthy and he has to be conditional one so there it is here's the quote

[00:36:56] so here's the quote for you of course I lost it right when Zion tell me he's one of the most dominant forces in the paint in the modern day somebody basically they compared him to

[00:37:15] the shot and with guard like agility so these are things that are the the this furluitos of this guy but I don't know who ever see the full potential so what did I did I do when talk about who I am

[00:37:33] really excited well trade Murphy third we like trade here third on this podcast we liked him coming out college he has shown himself well and I am begging the new ones pelicans to find this dude 32 minutes gang like can we get

[00:37:59] trade Murphy 32 in a basketball because here's the thing when you're shooting 41% from three and it easy like he's doing it easy that's a big deal he's also six foot he got ahead

[00:38:26] he plays deep in and he's he's pretty much a low maintenance guy he's not this big like hey give me the wall gotta have touches I gotta do this I gotta do he does a lot of little things

[00:38:38] that you love to see deflection going after rebounds walks and out filling lane on the break he knows where to be to spot up he understands spatial his spatial awareness deal is really

[00:38:52] really good we just want to see the play at this point and actually NBA scout said Murphy's developing as a sharp shooter has been essential for the applicant and their four spaces

[00:39:08] and you need to be able to to spam that part of the often to really unlock what Zion is and what Zion to be having shooter all around and then we get to random ego I think we talked about it

[00:39:30] a little big before what I want to be real frank it's not that it's not like he's not a good player we talked about it before he gives this leg kind of a notch and a lot added to buy

[00:39:46] and it's not that he's it's not like he's not trying out there he just looks like he's an like trying it what you got the trait you're going to change your game Brandon because here's the thing

[00:39:59] you can't you can't live in the mid post anymore you can't hit the midie pull up not at the at the rate that you were going last year you need to implement at least five three point a tenth game because you're 40 damn there 40 percent shooter you're 37 percent

[00:40:25] would you still pretty good and if you're shooting at that volume they would have to come out and respect you which would then open up the lane for you driving kit gay all the shooters on the

[00:40:39] team this is how it worked this is the new NBA this is what we have gone towards and it's successful because the ball moves faster they can be we got to need Brandon

[00:40:53] Ingram to kind of look at himself and try to figure out if he wasn't recorded his team or not now the other guy that we want to get to before we go is her jump her Jones is

[00:41:05] excellent think he's going to win deep into play of the year at some point the problem is that Victor went by young like exists so he might have to settle for some all defense team or team whatever I want to sound clear for you guys

[00:41:23] what you're getting with her Jones is that you're going to get a guy who doesn't need the ball he doesn't need plays drawn up for him he is a squad of shooter he is an offensive rebounder

[00:41:35] so second chances for your or the team essential right he is an excellent on ball defensive player he's also a excellent off wall he feels a player he's a room protector are you seeing what

[00:41:52] are you seeing the pattern here this guy is excellent defense and he shoots it enough and shoots it such a great that you can't play him on the floor and this guy just likes playing basketball

[00:42:10] so the one thing with her Jones is that he fits any system the great thing with her Jones is that if you are looking to win he is a conduit to winning his whole game it is

[00:42:25] dedicated on winning he's a he's a bigger version of Alex Corriff so in the sense of what you think of all the little things that they do with the inside of the basketball game to win

[00:42:42] he's going to take a charge he's going to block a shot there's going to be a steel that leads to a fantastic dunk on the other end by Zion Williamson what usually what led to that

[00:42:54] dunk that ended up on sports center is her Jones probably deflected the ball then getting in his hands on it getting out to a guard that led to a loop for his Zion

[00:43:09] so her Jones is one of the guys that they locked up early they knew what they had in him and they got they did and he is special and any team would love to have me for us me

[00:43:28] well here's the thing with the new one was pelicans that would kind of really need to get into the kind of the secret that people don't want to talk about they got a lot of players they have

[00:43:41] a lot of players and also their ownership doesn't like to be in the tap this is Winston the owner of the pelicans also the owner of the New Orleans Saints you know I mean here's

[00:44:00] the thing man you know Mr. Benson love this for Walter and he tried to hell out New Orleans when remember when all that stuff was going on the NBA used to own the new Orleans pelicans let us not

[00:44:16] forget that deal okay yet ownership that ownership situation is going on down there the data star has stepped in get the team by the way still will never ever for years data

[00:44:34] star or not allowing Chris Paul to come to the lakeers I know it's Osta I know it's Oshik I got you I'm still mad about it all right but she's not gonna spin the money she's not gonna spin it extra

[00:44:53] especially when you know that you're not at the level where you need to be and this is not a us to slam to the New Orleans pelicans fans listen you your team is good this year you have a lot

[00:45:05] talent you just don't have a big also you need a consolidation trade to kind of start really identifying everybody's role right I'll talk in a while trying to get trade Murphy the third minutes and and

[00:45:21] I'm making CJ McCullum who makes almost $36 million a six-man there's a trade to be made and David Griffin needs to make it now is he gonna make a bad trade no is he gonna be patient

[00:45:38] 100% he is because he's gonna look for the best value it's gonna look for what is going to work for his team the problem is again is this CBA the apron scares teams that are not in it and the

[00:45:54] teams that are in it it's so inflexible in how you need to move and somehow some something basically what I'm trying to say is like when you make a trade when you're in the aprons there's so many

[00:46:10] little things that you have to worry about you can't take on more money the contract basically the trade literally has to match each other um you can take less money right you can do that

[00:46:28] that help they all they always encourage that so it's it's a problem it's a problem that a lot of teams are working through they started the all season great getting to

[00:46:46] Jate Murray but again just like a lot of other teams we talked about it at nausea I mean times you told have I told you on this clock we will do an emergency pod if Brandon something

[00:47:00] happens with Brandon E. Now we're fighting out that there's nothing out there he's coming back to the pelican maybe there's something that can be done door towards the trade deadline marketing in Utah is not moving because Danny A. once of people's children

[00:47:26] he wants a car that flies he said that he wants the 18 to literally come back to TV if that's part of this trade he also wants like a talkie elephant there's a lot

[00:47:48] of things that Danny A. once in this trade for Lori Mark I'm trying to tell you and all of them are ridiculous not because listen I'm not saying he shouldn't ask for the loan he should

[00:48:00] but we also got also understand Lori Mark needs help to score point and what I mean by that is that he's a prolific scoring no doubt but he's not I go get my own shot type would

[00:48:16] he's a DHO come off you know come off straight shoot type with guy and you know some like mix the expert passing gives me open type would do works within the the framework of the offensive lines is over areas that is what Lori Mark does

[00:48:35] okay that is not six first round draft picks of a doing six first round draft case should be get you like A that's my number one option right there okay on a championship team

[00:48:52] no wise given out six first round picks to Lori Mark and he got out touted that so again this leads us to a disassemble and this leaves new Orleans this leaves Miami this leaves the Los Angeles Lakers this leaves the Golden State Warrior

[00:49:14] this leaves the New York Nick this leaves all those tea in just a kind of a state of flux and until one of these teams decides to lower their prices this is kind of where we're going to be

[00:49:34] until probably training camps open up and maybe people start going do we want to enter the season with this or do we want to rip the bandaid off take what we can get now or roll the dice and wait until

[00:49:53] the trade deadline which is they were your seventh of next year and you see what we can do there it's a lot going on I again I can't I can't tell you how what's the word I'm looking for I would be really completely surprised if we were in

[00:50:23] September and the newer in color can did not have a center other than ease me see I just cannot see them do but we'll see how it all go now that's what it now we we all used something right

[00:50:44] 100% so we're gonna get that to you now so you have exhausted your friend group you told all you help being a friend to the podcast you told all of your friend I am here to help
