[00:00:12] It's Monday, you know what time it is. Front Runner Podcast Collective is back on the air. I am your humble hose of Vince and all of the ones in two are a bunch of funge and so Rhea, my silent assassin producers.

[00:00:28] They will be holding me down with some stats and some things that we can go ahead and get into. I hope everybody had a great weekend. I did, got some stuff done which is excellent. Always, always nice to be productive and get some items taken care of.

[00:00:48] The other thing is this. We are going to talk about the socials right now, but what I want to tell you guys is that for a second it looked like we didn't know if we were going to hit the record

[00:01:02] or not for the download for the podcast and I am here to tell you that it is almost impossible for us not to break the record

[00:01:16] or the most downloads of this particular podcast. So thank you so much. We are leading with that right now because it's good news, but it always comes down to you guys. It always comes down to be a friend telephoran, allowing people to consume the product, consume the podcast and the word of mouth is working.

[00:01:40] And the reason why I wanted to build it this way is because I wanted it to be authentic. We didn't want to put advertising dollars until we were really close to us doing advertising.

[00:01:53] We didn't want that burden on you guys or anything. When we do patron on, we don't want to jack up prices or anything like that.

[00:02:04] We want to make sure you the day ones who went with us, their support and us that really dig the product or get a robust look at the NBA, they're getting a robust look at how we kind of do things.

[00:02:21] And you know, you've been in on the ground floor with us with the scheduling issues and maybe some of the production issues or whatever, but now as we work through all of those.

[00:02:34] We are thankful for your patience and we are thankful for our for our audience that hoses down and is supporting the podcast to the point where they're letting people know.

[00:02:50] So at the end of this podcast, like we always do, we're going to give you another tip on how to conduct yourself on approaching front running podcasts collective outside your friend group.

[00:03:04] All right, so stay tuned for that. The other thing is let's get with the Twitter and the ex of it all at front runner pc and check out the producers at raya outside yeah at raya underscore punch FRPC those other producers they have crazy backing at force the ZAR of our social media, which is syria she has been moving.

[00:03:34] You know, she she is moved to the west coast so she's settling in but I'm sure that she will be on Twitter soon back.

[00:03:44] Giving you a couple little behind the scenes things here and also what's going on in the life to whatever extent that she wants to give it to you guys so there's that and then the YouTube channel.

[00:04:00] We have some stuff on there right now. We have the Houston clip up there on re-cheper. I think a lot of re-cheperred there is a possibility of roster configuration that heavily involved re-cheperred so go take a look at that video on YouTube at front runner podcast collective channel that is great.

[00:04:24] Remember to subscribe to the channel. Remember to like some of the videos and there also remember to comment as well your participation. You know you get my participation. I answer all the comments with all of that being said I think we can get on to the podcast and what we're talking about today does not a lot going on as far as news is concerned.

[00:04:50] We're going to continue our series on teams and what they've done in the off season and go from there. Who we have in the off season front runner focus is the Orlando magic now Orlando last year went crazy they went 47 wins huge jump from the year prior their executive is Jeff Weltman he's been with the team since 2017.

[00:05:20] Viatoranal Raptors so what has been in the game for quite some time he has a long history in the league working his way up from you know player development to like assisted GM thinks that nature and he came along in the time where

[00:05:38] coaching changes were being made and he had the Aaron Gordon vosevic deal there now here's the thing what he's done in the draft of late with the polo been carols of the world and the fron's Wagner's of the world and jail and sugs

[00:05:59] and all the and call Anthony's and people like this you know he's done a really good job in stockpiling talent and even if it's not like the top top tier talent which we'll get into in second I don't

[00:06:13] know if I necessarily agree with that yet but we'll get into it in a second but he's not proud enough talent where now it's a respectable team I do believe they found a go to guy and we'll get into that

[00:06:27] but I like that he was able to make a fundamental philosophy change mainstream say hey this is not working for us let's go hit rip the band-aid off right let's go ahead we're we're trying to water right now

[00:06:43] so how do we get more dynamic how do we get to a place where maybe we have a guy who is a difference maker on a level that impacts winning

[00:06:54] where we're in the playoffs well meant in his group and I'm gonna give them credit Anthony Parker Anthony Parker who has been with the Orlando magic for a while but he started his GM job in 2023 but he was with the G league for a long period time so he's been in the player development realm

[00:07:17] for them and then you have a VP of basketball operations in as Peter De LaSandro Peter is a guy who has extensive basketball operations background going back to 2004

[00:07:31] and he's made stops in Sacramento Denver Golden State and other places. He you know so you got these guys in there and they're putting this team together but let me go ahead and run down the rest of the group then you got David Binks

[00:07:48] he's been with the team since 2022 he's the analytics head along with Steven Merris he's a VP of basketball strategy and evaluation and then we have a tune V out of DPA who is the vice president of player personnel he's home grown he's been with the organization since 2015

[00:08:15] the reason why I want to give you that is that we talk about being robust when it comes to the front office and how certain teams feel about

[00:08:26] the background story on all these gentlemen obviously there was a fundamental philosophy switch when they started to say hey we got to rip the band data we have to

[00:08:38] get to rip ourselves of loose of age we have to rip ourselves of Aaron Gordon is going to hurt but this is the only way that we can get impact players that can get us to where we want to go because let's be honest our lando was like

[00:08:56] you know and this is before the plant they are like a nice c. 10 c type of team and they were always floating around that and now you have

[00:09:06] the bones or the foundation of a really good team and we'll get into that in one second how that is all happened is under the jamaim mostly watch people who have been with the podcast for a while

[00:09:22] no my affinity for jamaim mostly because I am always very intrigued by guys who can get young players to buy into a skin defensively

[00:09:39] drive in that scheme and also say hey we need you to share the sugar meaning make sure that you're not the only one taking shots and when you have a bunch of young guys

[00:09:54] the one thing that a lot of guys in the NBA will tell you they're first four years is they're trying to get to that second contract and make that second contract as lucrative as they possibly can they're looking for the working max

[00:10:09] and you have a bunch of young guys on the team it's really hard to say hey let's have a singular interest a singular interest to get better a singular interest to win a singular interest to pick up one another a singular interest in being successful

[00:10:29] and if you look at what the Orlando magic built last year listen it was a flaw to you know great story but we also know that there were some issues at the point of our situation which will talk about

[00:10:44] and a second there were some issues with in and out of the lineup with their bigs with Jonathan Isaac who played well play very very well when he was in there but obviously Jonathan Isaac is a injury risk nonetheless

[00:11:02] then you have a window cardal junior who had a situation where he missed some time and so the other team who played on grit

[00:11:14] followed and Carol took a jump but Jamal mostly studying that ship and really talking to these guys in a way where it seems whatever how he talks of them the message is conveyed in a way where it's very impactful

[00:11:33] and the reason why I want to bring that up is whatever Jamal mostly said in the exit meeting prior to the 2023-2024 season

[00:11:44] to unlock the traits of Jalen one Jalen sucks is amazing because what we saw with Jalen sucks last year was the Jalen sucks we saw back in consager a guy who was unabashed flying around the court very aggressive on defense

[00:12:05] was able to know when to get aggressive on offense picked a spot perfectly and fit into a role that really suited him and he flers in that role last year

[00:12:19] so Kudos to Jamal mostly and Kudos to Jalen sucks obviously there were some words given and those words by Jalen sucks was taken hard obviously

[00:12:32] so I wanted to give you that as a backdrop before we got into all of what we're going to get into with Orlando with the players or concern so with that being said let's get on to it

[00:12:46] now the players let's see what they've done in the off season Orlando Magic and busy in the off season focusing on solidifying their roster by adding key pieces to support their playoff aspirations and their playoff appearance for last year

[00:13:07] their standout moves are drafting forward and he was a super senior Tristan de Silva he was a kid out of Colorado

[00:13:19] and also signing veteran guard wing can take his call will hope so the one thing that I'll say about the Magic's off season and we've been talking about this the whole time with a lot of people's off season as I still think there is work to do

[00:13:42] and I'm not putting it down because what they achieved here with these two pickups was to Silva you get a guy who's ready to play in the NBA his body is physically matured enough to handle the rigors of the game now

[00:14:00] he's only played like 32 to 38 games in a college career so this is going to be a far different situation playing 82 or 70 or whatever he's ended up going to play

[00:14:16] as far as the physicality of the NBA he even showed it in some league that his ability to handle physicality and the ability to dish out physicality without you know bowing out and things of that nature

[00:14:37] it is going to be crucial to what he's going to be able to provide to the team now with that all being said he was 18 pick overall in the draft now here's something to scatter report on him

[00:14:52] and I'm going to give you a little bit about what I know so high basketball IQ excellent shooting fundamentals versatile shot making solid off ball movement now his weaknesses limited explosion

[00:15:09] and physicality potential concerns while creating on shot and rebounding. College formats he ever 16 points again by point one rebound 2.4 assists

[00:15:23] he shot almost 40% from 3 members that's the college line that's not pro line but it was 39.5% he blossomed into all packed 12 player his junior year with Colorado and the pro comparison is while he's Serbia now here is someone else's to still look projects as a reliable role player he can provide consistent shooting

[00:15:52] play while he may not become a star his skills it makes him valuable addition to the magic for rotation now the silver was also at Oregon and there were some games where was the Oregon as six day or four

[00:16:10] and I saw him in another uniform before and the silver if he has a matchup that he thinks he can exploit he's going to take advantage of it now in the NBA they got asking the spot out shoot

[00:16:30] and he's a good one to be happy and these are all things that he is capable of doing

[00:16:36] hey listen we're going to need you to give energy on the defensive and got also understand when he was in college he was asked to be like the score of the man

[00:16:47] he's not going to be that in the NBA so I'm not worried about his physicality I do worry about his explosion I think when a superior athlete on the wing gets him they're going to elevate over him and that's it now he has tremendous

[00:17:13] like new hours to his game where he'll be able to draw charges and things he'll be annoying

[00:17:21] they'll draw charges things of that nature also working with Jamal mostly don't they'll give him a couple things and say hey these are the cues that you need to hit for you to be on the court

[00:17:34] and I think by simplifying the situation and giving him like two cues like here on the offensive end this is really what you are wanting to do now understand the sets

[00:17:45] but understand that your destination in these sets is here like we want you to do this and this but your destination is here and if you always have that in the back of your head it'll allow your game to be more fluid

[00:18:02] and more free flowing so you're not thinking as much and Jamal mostly and his staff does do a really good job with that

[00:18:10] so I think he'll find his way in some sort of semi regular rotation role this year with your land on magic now for the big signing

[00:18:26] Contaneous call will quote now obviously a two-time NBA champion one time with the legers one time with the different nuggets and he was recently with the different nuggets he leaves the different nuggets and here's the thing

[00:18:44] Calvin Booth is going with the young guys and this is an absolute incredible find for the Armando magic because here's what you're getting with KCP you're getting somebody who is going to he knows how to win he's done it twice

[00:19:06] he has seen stars grow he's seen stars who have already elevated to that point and stay there so he can help follow along with his maturation process hopefully he can help bronze along with his maturation process and we'll get to that in a second what the one thing that you know

[00:19:29] Contaneous call will quote to do is he's going to play expert point of the tag defense on the perimeter that is exactly what he is going to do

[00:19:43] the other thing that he is going to do is he is going to shoot at a almost 40% level from 3.Y which increases the spacing for one polyping hero and another Frons Wagner which is super helpful super helpful if all the guys around Palao and Frons are 40% 3.4 shudders

[00:20:14] Key. Now let's get to the project start lineup we have a project start lineup right now of Jalen Sugs contained his call will poke Frons Wagner, Polo Punk, Carol and window Carter Jr

[00:20:30] I want to talk about Frons a little bit and I want to talk about some of the struggles now mind you his career stats is 15.2 points again 4.6 rebounds 3 assists again He's shooting basically 46.5% from the field and a respectable almost 36% from 3.35.8% but here's the problem

[00:20:58] The struggles happened last year and it kind of really showed itself in the playoffs where he struggled to find his rhythm he only averaged 11.3 points again

[00:21:11] He shot only 39% from the field total it was a complete wash his playoff debut last year and it was a little disconcerning to Orlando grass and it was disconcerning to people who really are high on Frons Wagner

[00:21:34] Of all the people who came out 3 years ago, you know I thought he was one of the safer pigs that's like okay this dude right here

[00:21:42] He's gonna find his way and I'm not saying he's not but it was alarming to see what it was in the playoffs now with the help that he got with Co. Pope you're taking a little more pressure off in him

[00:22:02] Now this might open his game a little bit because if like again when we talk about roster construction Clearly the Orlando magic have not lost faith in Frons Wagner because they they extended him right

[00:22:19] The other thing is is that look at the team they built around him so far so far you have James of who found history point shot and shooting about 40% KCP and will no Carter Jr

[00:22:36] Your driving kit game should work now with those three guys on the court now you can come off the bench with coal Anthony And you can even provide even a fourth score to the situation our outsider to the situation

[00:22:53] So they have built and constructed their team to assentuate the talents of their two main guys Who are Frons Wagner and now the guy who were about to talk well, which is probably been Carol

[00:23:10] Now Pablo was the exact opposite in the playoffs he had a phenomenal playoff series He had which is he had with 25.7 points 8.2 rebounds 4.1 If this again, he just admonated he got to wherever wherever he wanted on the floor

[00:23:29] No, he hasn't been the most efficient guy in the NBA but I would say other guys who were in the playoffs his supporting cast was as weak as you can possibly get

[00:23:46] No shade to anybody it is what it is. You just got to everybody has to find that role And this team is a little bit different this year they were ahead of schedule last year

[00:23:58] No one expected them to be a full-fledged playoff team on the jump right playing Maybe you get in you sneak in right and then whatever happens But they were a actual playoff team They were a fifth seed in the eastern conference 47 wins legit playoff team

[00:24:24] So you're ahead of schedule. So now let's see what happens in the playoffs. We find out We find out that Frons wasn't kind of ready We also find out that maybe we need another shooter on the court With our two main guys So we've addressed those issues

[00:24:43] But what Moncaro, which you found out with him is that He can handle the ball in stressful situations He is not bothered by those stressful situations And he seems to want to overcome in those situations Not in a stubborn way In a way of

[00:25:06] What is the best avenue of victory for Monty He was willing to give up the ball when he had to When he saw his team was The lights were really bright He saw his team kind of go low, I don't know what this is

[00:25:22] He stepped up his game and said hey, I got to carry the mill Right now from my squad We've Paulo Gantaro You're seeing the maturation process right in front of your face I love it when young guys

[00:25:36] Especially Paulo being in his second year when the playoffs world around last season I love to see young guys in those situations to see how they react And usually they're always better for it

[00:25:51] So I cannot wait to see what this third year is going to look like for Paulo Gantaro The rest of the team Cast care to basically same You got Jonathan Isaac who played the most games he played in quite a while

[00:26:08] Even though he still is a delicate flower I would say no shade Jonathan But the injury history they have to kind of play Or they have to work around him a little bit to make sure that he's healthy enough to be

[00:26:27] able to provide them anything in the playoffs And then you got Gary Harris, you still got Moe Wagner You still got Cole Anthony, they got the young kids Anthony Black And how are they drafted last year in the first round both lottery picks last year

[00:26:45] And then they resigned go go with hot say as well So the team was pretty similar to the team that they had last year And they just added KCP you say well, okay, what's that going to do?

[00:27:00] Well first of all signing KCP, obviously going to help you defense and then like we said provide more spacing Also we talked about the leadership aspect of KCP He seen a lot in his time and lead

[00:27:19] He's been with the legors in that chaos and also when they were completely successful And then he's gone in Denver and carried on that tradition and carried on his tradition of being stable Steady Eddie and ready to go and do his situation

[00:27:38] The way he does it every single night The other thing that Is happening is Well man in his guys are continuing to stop pile Necessary pieces underneath the Trist and the Silver pickup was a good piece of business at 18

[00:28:03] Right behind the leakers we're hoping that Dalton connect is the guy who are not in a jail and hood Shafino situation when this guy was staring at his right in the face We cannot have another high knee high catch junior situation. We just can't have it

[00:28:22] Just can't happen But, digress back into Orlando The team is set you know I think my problem with the team right now is too full You still haven't addressed the point guard situation I like the lineup as is right now of what you have

[00:28:45] But I think James sucks being taken off the ball It's a good thing Is he ending up being like your six man you kind of upgrade that position And the reason why I bring that up is because our guy

[00:29:04] And I want to give him credit it was it was nister Andy Bailey Of Belieger report He had a really interesting three-teen deal that I want to Break down for you in a and involves the Orlando magic but it also involves the leakers

[00:29:25] But it does work out for Orlando So in the deal it's Jeremy Grant and Cole Anthony to the leakers The blazers received gate Vincent Jared Vanderbilt jet Howard A 2025 first round pig from Orlando And a top three protected 2029 pig from Los Angeles

[00:29:55] The Orlando magic it the Angela Ruff Russell Jalen Hitchefino A 2028 second round pig from Portland by a gun state and a 2032 second round pig from the leakers So the reason why I bring this trade up is because of the point guard situation

[00:30:19] I also bring this situation up is because of the defense that Orlando plays and who is in charge Who is Giving these messages out to the team? I know that The Angela Russell is a flawed point guard, but he is a massive upgrade from

[00:30:47] Mark Kale folks or Jalen Sugs or whomever you want to put in there Right Let's just get that right off the bat He also shoots 42% from three so you're also getting an expert 3.0 shooter And somebody who can play on bar or off ball

[00:31:11] He knows how to play off ball with LeBron James But he can also provide you when you're not getting into your offense And this is where Jomal Mosley and his staff comes in the play I think the Angela is at the point of his career

[00:31:29] Where he's the most susceptible to coaching I think he wants to be a starter, he wants to stay a starter And I think he's willing now to do all the things he needs to do to stay a starter So personally, I think this deal works for Orlando

[00:31:48] Get some point guard that they sorely need It gets you a future point guard because here's the thing We didn't get to see Jalen who it's 15 years last year There were issues with Julie, he did not play very well at all with the legors

[00:32:06] But how could he? Because the minutes were very interminute He was getting like garbage time and also he was hurt So I have great prospects Hope for one Jalen Hutch thing this year I think that he could provide and also under two legors of the Angela Russell

[00:32:37] And in that environment in Orlando, I think he could flourish Because I think he can pick up some tips and tricks from the Angela Russell To implement into his game But I think he has a little more Gidea to his step

[00:32:54] And I think that he will be able to get to the whole more And basically be a more athletic version of the Angela Russell So I don't think the hall is bad and I think in a sense

[00:33:07] If you look at it this way, now this changes your changes Orlando completely Right? So let's get into it If you got the Angela Russell, he's a six foot five point guard Who gets he has defensive lapses But for the team that you have all the other four

[00:33:27] Players on the team are either Average defenders or above average defenders And the great thing about the Angela Russell, if he's able to play kind of like a center field type of roll He's going to play well It's when he can't play that center field roll

[00:33:51] Because LeBron James is doing that And he can never understand that in a lake of uniform So I think this is a really good tray for Orlando Against the point guard, they need it gets you now a really

[00:34:07] It's a veteran back court, but it's not two veteran because the Angela is still 28 Casey Pees, like in his early 30s James says can go to the six men So now you upgraded your six men from Cole Anthony who can give you points

[00:34:25] But can't necessarily do the defense of situation that Angela sucks provides And then you have all of your size and your length Still in your wing situation And you only gave up jet Howard who didn't play at all Or you really last year

[00:34:48] And he was the second of the two for Brown pigs from last year So I think personally this is a good trade for Orlando I think you can do worse And you're picking up young and you're picking up second rounders

[00:35:06] That you can probably toss for whatever you need down the road in the trade deadline So that is it for the Orlando magic The next team that I want to talk about Is the Sacramento Kings Now the Sacramento Kings have 46 wins but they played in that treacherous

[00:35:33] West, they were ninth So one victory apart Orlando have 47 victory fills, they feel real good about themselves They were fifth in the eastern conference Sacramento 46 wins right Oh, well 500 all that Nice it just tells you how strong the West is So let's get into the Kings

[00:36:05] Monning McNair has been there Player personnel guy since 2020 He has done a I would personally call what he's done ADC and job The one choice obviously is the Haliburton for subbonus Transaction that happened But here's the thing I get it Sacramento wasn't good

[00:36:33] Haliburton even though I think he is a Transcendent talent as far as that's concerned I think that he can really really impact winning It wasn't working out between Deren Flock and Tyreys Haliburton on the court You get subbonus who is a absolute beast

[00:36:52] He tries hard, he gives you everything he can He's going to play 70 plus games he's going to get your 13 rebounds And 20 points again So you have a guy who definitely immediately impacts winning

[00:37:09] Get you to another level that you weren't able to get to which was the playoffs a couple years ago And now you kind of plateau because He doesn't play good defense as a As a big and you don't have enough Ram protection around him

[00:37:34] To kind of hide it So you kind of stuck with a team that's pretty good You know, we'll probably battle for some playoffs marks But we're not going to take Sacramento seriously The way the team was constituted last year But McNair continues to shop wood

[00:38:01] He continues to work hard And we're going to talk about what he has done Because all this other stuff is water on the bridge We don't need to re-litigate this trait What's going on right now with Sacramento is that they hired Mike Brown as a head coach

[00:38:23] Now Mike Brown was the coach at Cleveland He also coast the lakers, ill fainted Lee And then he ended up at Golden State where he was an assistant I think that helped him It helped him relax Now he's still a fiery guy

[00:38:42] So what are those guys that I expect? Excellent and give me excellence in what have you but He seemed to learn how to take his foot off the accelerator a little bit And he seems to be a much more enjoyable person to be around

[00:38:59] From what all the sources I can give you And this kind of started to happen in Golden State Because he started to see a different way of doing things And he's kind of brought that over to the Sacramento Kings

[00:39:16] Now I think getting around the bronze and still carry You can play as like that, have held him And it is also helped another player And that's the player that I want to talk about right now Which is I don't know who you want to give credit to

[00:39:35] I don't know if you want to give credit to coach Mike Brown I don't know if you want to give credit to Dianne Fox But I will tell you this Fox is the elevated his plate And he's elevated it by getting more efficient

[00:39:52] So let's give you some numbers about Dianne Fox He's taking a significant He's taking less Inefficient tools And he's taking more 3 use over the last couple years Okay, so let's go back In 2021 in 2022 he took 4.23.0 Attempts again In 2023 2024 which is last year He took 7.8 3.0 Attempts again

[00:40:30] So that's a huge shift in your philosophy Because what Fox was doing He was taking hard tools He was taking Kevin Durant 2 He was taking Dormard to Rosen 2 And we'll get to that in a second The problem with Dianne Fox taking those type of tools

[00:40:51] Even though he's incredibly talented Even though he can get to the basket whenever he wants Prior to rob dealing him, join him Lee You had a real question about who the fastest guy What the basketball in his hands were

[00:41:11] And Dianne Fox was at the top of that list Now it might be different where Rob Dianne But we got to see it on the court right But he was taking hard tools Because he six foot three It's easier for Dormard to Rosen to take those tools

[00:41:29] Because he six with six Easier if you're Kevin Durant taking those hard tools Because he's seven with one Now Durant will tell you he's six ten That do seven one I don't care what anybody say Now here's the other little Micro improvement that Dianne Fox made

[00:41:50] And I know this was an absolute must For Mike Brown This is definitely Mike Brown influence So Dianne Fox in the year 19 and 2020 He had his three point one turn over to game In 2023 and 2024 he had his two point six turn over to game

[00:42:17] Now that's not huge deal But that's a huge deal if you got the ball in your hands a lot And I know that Mike Brown challenged him He wanted him to clean up his turn over as he did And he just got a more efficient player

[00:42:37] Now we're not going to overlook some of the inefficiencies From last year in the draw-off Because I chalked that up to one Heerter being hurt and also he's kind of fall off From his production in Atlanta which we've talked about Keegan Murray who is

[00:42:59] I love this kid out of Iowa he's going into his third year Now from his first year to his second year there was growth He took more shots He took basically same amount of threes And we'll talk about him in a second

[00:43:16] But it was incremental growth but it wasn't that leap You know it wasn't like oh my god He went from 12 points to 18 And then Harrison Barnes because of age and decline He just wasn't able to give the necessary assistance that Dieron Fox needed

[00:43:37] So it was really a two-man game and a milk month would come in And set the house a fire by Don't like five or six threes and hit them for them So that's how I explain His kind of a little slip in efficiency last year

[00:43:57] To the 2022 2023 season where he had his career highs In efficiency and things of that nature so I don't look upon last year as some sort of like oh A little regression

[00:44:12] You know and what have you I look at it as a blip and he's just going to get better Now how does it get better So that's how it does so far in the off season So the reason I have a milk month

[00:44:30] Absolutely key one of the greatest Just a great six man last year Six men and shorten there you want to call them that I also called them a certified bucket McNair has made moves that I thought He made them move

[00:44:50] With milk month that I thought that maybe he could have I think this guy hung up But the signing that was great it was Harrison Barnes let me digress So in the league month's size you had to sign on

[00:45:07] It was a good deal he still going to give you way Crazy production for a while so I'm excited about that But here's the move that maybe I wasn't excited about what he did make it this year

[00:45:21] I think that Harrison Barnes last year your value and what you could have got for him last year Was far greater than what you got for him this year but they made the trade They did trade Harrison Barnes and what they got back

[00:45:39] It's nothing to sneeze at because you got tomorrow to rosin And how the trade works out Barnes goes to San Antonio where he can play out the rest of his days So veteran leadership to win be Chris Dwarthe he got ship from San Antonio to Chicago

[00:45:59] And there it is the Margarosan is a Sacramento king Now The Margarosan comes over To a team that definitely needs another person who can create offense for himself and others

[00:46:18] And the Margarosan will be able to accomplish that and these are the things that are going to help dear and bots Now we'll let's talk about roles, right? Because here's the other thing which you get with the Margarosan

[00:46:35] He's a crazy good scoring option now. We'll talk about where he falls in To the packing order with Sacramento in a second but let me give you these stats After leaving Toronto, so in the trade where they sent Coiliner to Toronto to Margarosan goes to the San Antonio

[00:47:00] So he goes to San Antonio to put a respectable 21 points per game At that point time he also added little more of the unball creation Where he was kind of a black hole in Toronto So he added a little bit to his game

[00:47:20] Well if you're getting a 21 point per game guy who's going to give you like 5 plus 6 that's pretty good right? So that's what tomorrow turned into He leaves San Antonio and goes to Chicago And now we're talking a 32 a 33 a 34 season right? Or as what 30 no 30 31 30

[00:47:45] No 31 32 33 so now we're age 34 season So he goes to the second city and amplifies his production to 25 points again D'Rose is not known as a great defensive player But he did average ace of plus a plus a steal again And the past two seasons for Chicago

[00:48:12] So you're adding a guy who is a straight up veteran bucket in tomorrow's Rosen This should help out parent foxes, efficiency numbers This also helps out another guy that Savonis can play off of because now with Savonis he can understand number two You have

[00:48:42] Geren Fox as you know one you have D'Rose and as you know two and now you have Savonis as your number three And he's more suited for that role And then the trickle down effect is that Keegan Murray moves to your number four option

[00:48:59] Which he's going to be a lot more comfortable with Right you can keep Malik monk off the bench allow him to continue to burn it up for that second unit Now if you can get a resurgence of Kevin Hurter Or if the rookie who we love

[00:49:22] Devin Carter now he has shoulder injuries So I have no idea when he's going to be back I think they're saying first to like in the like January at 225 we'll see That might be somebody who next year not this year coming up with the next year following

[00:49:41] You know is impact player for your team, but if you look at what they have On the team now It's better It's more it's more layered So people have less pressure on them

[00:49:58] And then there is a slotted of roles that seems to be more comfortable in more content for each individual guy That's my take on it with Sacramento now McNair and you can sit there and say hey you can quivil about

[00:50:13] To have a wedding trait you can quivil about Gave he move barns in time to get maximum value of whatever occasion These are all things you can quivil well, but Let's deal with what he has done

[00:50:28] This is a team that wasn't making the playoffs that now is a legitimate team that is going to challenge for a postseason And you can say for the next couple years that's where they're going to be and probably for the four

[00:50:43] Seable future if whatever the next move is Pays off or if there's a leap in Kagan Murray, which I do believe they're will be So as the margaros and starts to drop off because here's the thing they're not going to ask the margaros and to put up 25

[00:51:07] No, you can go back down to your 21 Provide the You know the second side initiation and just another guy who can get us a bucket late in games Which takes a lot of pressure off the bonus and another guy who takes a more pressure off keg and Murray

[00:51:30] That's what you want to do when it comes to crunch time in a four-quarter give dear dogs Some sort of pressure about pressure release out with The margaros in and then allow the other guys to compliment Those two guys

[00:51:48] A lot's a bonus to be that hub creator that he loves to be Allow keg and Murray now to kind of skate along the baseline and get dunks or shoot out to the corner and hit the three

[00:52:00] A lot of the be comfortable in their role and then say hey I feel more in bold into step out and be more And that's what you want from Kington Murray

[00:52:13] And I think that tomorrow's a rose in this attacker veteran that can give him that type of situation So I like the moves that Sacramento made I Have really enjoyed to see a team that has suffered a lot of losing

[00:52:31] Really building it up from the ground up and make these moves in the margins where it doesn't It's not like oh this is taking over the airways This is taking over all the social media. This is taking over all the ESPN but

[00:52:49] Gradual change is coming and it's making them better and you cannot ask more than that From this team now what that being said I'm gonna see if there's anything else that's going on out here Don't think so The netter I Izzica coral

[00:53:15] Well if you can get Izzica coral the shoot and guess What you're gonna take next year anyway, so with that being said we are good now I want to tell you two things the producers have told me that we have a name for their blog
